The sixth house is also known as a trine of enemies original: "Ripubha". 44.

The houses of Growth original: "Upacaya"; houses 3, 6, 10, and 11 are said by the wise to be the third, sixth, tenth, and eleventh. The term Best Division original: "Vargottama"; refers to a planet occupying the same sign in both the main chart and the divisional Ninth-chart is used by the learned to describe specific auspicious placements. 45.

Synonyms for the Twelve Houses

For the First House original: "Lagna", the names used by the wise are: Form, Body, The Beginning, Physicality, Limb, and The Rising Sign. For the Second House, the names are: Self, Treasury, Wealth, and Assets. 46.

The Fourth House is called: The Underworld original: "Patala" and "Hibuka", The Chest, Water, and Cloud. These are the names given to the fourth house by the tradition. 47.

Regarding the Third House, the names are: Valor, Prowess, and Brotherhood. For the Eighth House, the names are: Destruction, Longevity, Life-span, and The Vulnerable Point original: "Chidra"; it is also called the Place of Dissolution. 48.

The Tenth House, located at the zenith of the zodiac, is known as: Mid-day Action, Rank, The Native’s Kingdom, The Sky, The Atmosphere, and The Heavens. 49.

The Fifth House is known as: Knowledge, Progeny, The Machine, Sacred Mantras, and Service. The Ninth House is called: Penance, Fortune, and The Law. 50.
