Even then, if a malefic is in the first house and the Moon is in its own sign, the child is born completely without teeth. 12 If malefics are situated at the end of the sign Cancer Karki and are aspected by Mars or the Moon, the child will be born after a long labor or may suffer shortly after. 13

If the Ascendant is in a sign ruled by Saturn, or if the Sun, Mars, and Saturn original: "Dhanta" are in Leo or Aries, and if the child is born without the aspect of benefics, it will be born missing limbs or severely disabled original: "maha-ahihine". 14 When malefic planets are placed at the junctions Sandhi the transitional degrees between two zodiac signs and are not aspected by benefics, the child will be dull-witted or disabled Jada; of this there is no doubt. 15

If Leo is the Ascendant and both the Sun and Moon are there, the child will be born blind at night. If benefics and malefics aspect them, the child will have a pair of defective eyes; if the birth is during the day, the left eye original: "vama" will be lost. 16 If the Moon is in the Ascendant, Mars is in the seventh house, and Saturn is in a low position, or if Mars and Venus are together, the child is born with the cord Nalaka. 17 When the Lord of the Ascendant is in the Ascendant, but a malefic is placed there along with it, and the birth occurs during a time of wrath Prarosha, the child is born in captivity or under bonds Vandi. 18
