For one who has the Sun in the Second House the house of wealth and family; original: "Dhana", there is an abundance of good fortune, including possession of four-legged animals and horses. However, such a person faces constant strife original: "kali" within the family and is often defeated by his wife in arguments. His duties toward his father or religious rites original: "pitrikriyam" become fruitless, even when performed for the sake of profit. 2
When the Jewel of the Day a poetic epithet for the Sun; original: "Aharmannir" is in the Third House the house of prowess and siblings; original: "Tritiya" from the time of birth, he bestows great majesty and increases one’s valor. Such a person is always regarded with respect, travels to holy pilgrimage sites, and consistently destroys his enemies. In battle, he is seen as a leader among men. 3

When the Sun enters the Fifth House the house of children and intelligence; original: "Sutasthana", there is misfortune regarding the first-born child. The person’s mind tends toward wandering original: "kushagramatir", and their knowledge remains limited. Though they may be eloquent or clever in speech, they are prone to negligence or error original: "pramadi". There is also a risk of death or disease related to the stomach or internal organs. 5
If the Sun is placed in the Sixth House the house of enemies and debt; original: "Shastha" or "Ripustha", he causes constant expenditure due to both enemies and friends. The person's lineage or family may suffer, and there is danger from four-legged animals. During travels, such a person finds themselves lacking in resources and faces hardships. 6
When the birth occurs with the Sun in the Seventh House the house of marriage and partners; original: "Dyuna", the person’s beloved spouse suffers from distress. There will be constant worry regarding physical ailments or pain in the limbs.
