...in the Fourth House the house of home, mother, and happiness, the planet known as Shikhi a name for Ketu, literally "the crested one" or "the flame" brings happiness to all beings. It makes one free from disease in the body and causes the destruction of various illnesses. 6
When Shikhi has arrived in the Seventh House the house of marriage and partnerships, there is a loss of conduct or livelihood. There may be danger from water. However, if it is situated in the sign of Scorpio original: "कीटक" (kitaka), it becomes a source of profit and knowledge. Otherwise, it causes distress to the wife and others, and leads to obstacles in expenditure. 7
In the Eighth House the house of longevity and secrets, it causes pain in the rectum and obstacles regarding vehicles. However, if it is in Scorpio, Virgo, or Gemini, or if Rahu is also involved in the influence, there is health in the body. In Aries original: "अज" (aja), it grants understanding and the gain of wealth. 8
When the node Ketu is in the Ninth House the house of fortune and father, it may cause the destruction of lands and worry regarding children or the intellect. Yet, there is an increase in fortune. It can produce diseases of the arms, but through the performance of penance and charity, it causes the diminution of those ills. 9
The one who has Ketu in the Tenth House the house of career and actions finds happiness regarding the father and experiences the destruction of enemies through the breaking of their ranks. There is distress involving the heart and vehicles, but happiness is known when the planet is in Virgo or Aquarius original: "कुम्भज" (kumbhaja). 10
In the Eleventh House the house of gains, one becomes very fortunate and highly educated. Such a person has a beautiful body, great radiance, and is beloved by all. Although there may be some distress to the wife and the offspring might face difficulties, Shikhi in the house of gain brings about all types of profit. 11
When Shikhi is in the Twelfth House original: "रिष्फ" (rishpha); the house of loss and liberation, there is pain in the feet and the eyes. There is fear from the royal family modern context: the government or legal authorities and the destruction of enemies. One finds no comfort from the maternal uncle, and there is pain caused by dust or secretions...
