Vowel Essence Swarasa. The vowel U original: Ukara attains its rising; the months are the same as previously sought, and specifically in the month of Phalguna approx. February–March.
The vowel U reaches its rising here as well; in this seven-fold original: saptare confluence, the calculation original: sannaro should be understood as before. The day duration is 25 days and 46 ghatis (25-46) and 5 days and 38 ghatis (5-38), measured in single units.
Through this verse, the vowels for the Solstice Ayana, the Season Ritu, the Month Masa, and the Position Pada are explained. The vowel-durations for the days and the ghatis units of 24 minutes are given in the almanac. By the verse regarding the night, everything has been stated as 11 likely referring to the eleven intermediate risings mentioned on the previous page.
