...rituals for nourishment, craftsmanship, Vastuthe traditional Indian system of architecture and environmental harmony, and matters concerning land and marriage. One should perform religious vows, ceremonial piercings, stable works, and farming original: "rushi," a regional or scribe's variant of "krishi," meaning agriculture under the mansion of Chitra. ॥ 29 ॥
For the construction of temples original: "surasadma," literally 'the dwelling of the gods', auspicious ceremonies, selecting a bride, and the wearing of ornaments, as well as sowing seeds, engaging in combat, and handling weapons, one should act when the Moon is in the mansion of Svati. ॥ 30 ॥
Architecture for houses, the donning of jewelry, possibly referring to painting or artistic work crafts, and striking or crushing tasks are suited here. In the mansion of Vishakha, one should undertake work involving chariots, farming, and the administration of medicine. ॥ 31 ॥
Commerce, the undertaking of vows, the fashioning of ritual vessels, and the decoration of elephants, horses, and men; any task that is intended to be stable and auspicious should be performed by the wise in the mansion of Anuradha. ॥ 32 ॥
For the slaying of enemies, creating discord among foes, for striking blows, and for smithing or iron-work; for craftsmanship and rituals involving oils original: "sneha-vidhau," which can also refer to acts of friendship or affection, the mansion of Jyeshtha is declared to be the most excellent. ॥ 33 ॥
Training intoxicated elephants, planting gardens, engaging in battle, making treaties or declaring war, and the construction of step-wells, wells, and ponds, as well as farming, are all to be performed— ॥ 34 ॥
Indeed, the building of step-wells and wells, farming, war, ceremonial piercing, and the liberation of captives; likewise, harsh deeds and the cutting of trees should be carried out in the mansion of Purva Ashadha. ॥ 35 ॥
The installation of idols, the building of pavilions, architectural planning, entering a new home, and the first use of weapons; sowing seeds and the wearing of ornaments should be done in the mansion of Uttara Ashadha. ॥ 36 ॥
The consecration of deities, house construction, rituals for prosperity, and craftsmanship; auspicious trade, painting, and rites for peace should be conducted in Shravana. ॥ 37 ॥

Regarding elephants, horses, chariots, and boats; for work with silver, pearls, and weaponry; and for architecture, battle, and the preparation of arms, one should perform such tasks in Shatabhisha. ॥ 39 ॥
