Marriage, the ceremonial piercing associated with vows original: "vratavedha," likely referring to the ritual ear-piercing (Karnavedha) performed during childhood or initiation, the installation of deities, house construction, architecture, and coronations should occur in those [the Bhadrapada mansions]. ॥ 41 ॥
Success is attained in the mansion of Revati for works involving houses, temples, royal affairs, marriage, the performance of vows, and activities concerning water or land. ॥ 42 ॥
Even if the planets are influenced by malefic forces, and even if the Moon or the Strength of the Starstara-bala; a calculation of the auspiciousness of a star relative to an individual's birth star is lacking, all actions are successful in Pushya original: "Pushpa," a common scribe’s variant for the mansion Pushya, with the single exception of marriage original: "karagrahe," literally 'taking the hand'. ॥ 43 ॥
Pushya is the leader of the stars. Even if the Moon is in Leo or is otherwise ill-placed, all works are accomplished in my mansion of Pushya. ॥ 44 ॥
The mansion Rohini and the three "Uttara" mansions Uttara-Phalguni, Uttara-Ashadha, and Uttara-Bhadrapada are known as Fixed. In these, one should perform stable actions such as planting gardens, building houses or villages, and coronations. ॥ 45 ॥
Mrigashira, Anuradha, Chitra and Revati, and Rohini The text includes Rohini here as well, though it is usually strictly 'Fixed'; this may reflect a regional tradition or a scribe's emphasis on its auspiciousness are categorized as Soft and Friendly. In these, one should perform music, arts, marriage, and various auspicious rituals. ॥ 46 ॥
Pushya, Ashvini, Abhijit, and Hasta are declared to be Light and Swift. In these, one finds success in medical knowledge, crafts, sports, and pleasures. ॥ 47 ॥
Jyeshtha, Ardra, Mula, and Ashlesha are called Sharp and Dreadful. In these, one should carry out acts of division, killing, imprisonment, and the mastery of deceitful or ghostly rituals. ॥ 48 ॥

The three beginning with Shravana Shravana, Dhanishta, and Shatabhisha, along with Svati and Punarvasu, are the Movable mansions. In these, one should handle horses, elephants, gardens, camels, and travel. ॥ 49 ॥
Bharani, Magha, and the "Purva" mansions Purva-Phalguni, Purva-Ashadha, and Purva-Bhadrapada are described as Cruel and Fierce. They are suited for acts involving poison, weapons, fire, striking, and the destruction of enemies. ॥ 50 ॥
Rama
Vishakha and Krittika are called Mixed and Ordinary. The ritual of releasing a bull original: "vṛṣotsarga," a Vedic rite of atonement or honoring ancestors and other common tasks are accomplished in these. ॥ 51 ॥
