Subtract the degrees of the planets from the target position. If the remainder is excessive, one should calculate the remaining time of the night for clarity. Subtract seven, eight, or nine accordingly, based on the precise measurements of the sky. ॥ 79 ॥ In the middle of the stars, this specific distinction should be applied by the wise through skillful reasoning.
Ga A wise person should avoid the five stars starting from Dhanishtha The "Panchaka" stars are Dhanishtha, Shatabhishak, Purva-Bhadrapada, Uttara-Bhadrapada, and Revati for certain purposes: traveling toward the Southern direction, making or repairing a bed, building a house, raising a structural pillar, cremating a corpse, and collecting grass or wood. If these acts are done during this time, their effects—and the necessity to repeat them—will be multiplied five-fold.
De The stars are categorized as Blind, Dim-sighted, Middle-sighted, and Good-sighted. To find them, count in groups of seven starting from the star Rohini. In a Blind star original: "Andha-nakshatra", there is a gain of wealth. In a Dim-sighted star, there is slow or little gain. In a Middle-sighted star, one hears news of the object but does not attain it. In a Good-sighted star, there is no gain at all. ॥ 80 ॥
