...[Feet that are] dry, crooked, thin, and covered in visible veins, or those that are sweaty, oddly mounded, or rough in appearance, [bring misfortune]. When the second toe Pradeshini|The toe immediately next to the big toe, analogous to the index finger is long and exceeds the big toe in length, that man will always enjoy the company and pleasures of women; of this there is no doubt. (29)
If the middle toe original: "madhyama" is the longest, it indicates the loss of a wife original: "bharyahani". If the fourth toe original: "anamika" is long, the man will be a famous enjoyer of life’s pleasures. (30)
