The belly Kukshi|The abdominal region, often analyzed in physiognomy for its shape and firmness is always a giver of sorrow [if it possesses certain unfavorable traits]. (1) Thus, concerning the navel:
When it is deep original: "gambhira", it is made to be very fruitful and auspicious. One that is shallow original: "uttana" provides but little happiness.

Where it is... stained?... an elevated or protruding one is a giver of sorrow.
Likewise, in the limbs of the earth-dwellers, the movement of the nails and the right eye...

One who is steady, brave, and has small eyes and a lower lip full of grace...
Such a person [otherwise] is a partaker of sorrow. (2) Thus, concerning the back original: "prshtha":
According to the teachings, a back that is broad original: "vistirno" like the heart/chest...
