He is wealthy and bears a mark on his right side original: "lakṣaṇam"; a birthmark or auspicious sign. He is bold and resolute. He has sharp teeth and a flat nose original: "cipiṭaḥ"; often used to describe a broad or snub nose. There is a mark in the region of the navel.
His head [is oriented] toward the east original: "pūrva-śiraḥ"; this continues the tradition of noting birth or sleeping orientation and he possesses a "fifth-step" gait pañcama-pādaḥ: likely referring to a specific rhythmic style of walking or a measurement of stature. In his thirteenth month, there is danger from poison. In his fifth year, there is danger from fire. In his eighth year, he suffers from bilious ailments pitta-pīḍā: an imbalance of the "pitta" or fire/bile humor in Ayurvedic medicine, often causing fever or inflammation.
In his twentieth year, there is danger from fever and disease. Death [occurs] by poison. Furthermore, [the time of] death is on a Monday, on the seventh day of the lunar fortnight, under the lunar mansion of Uttara Bhadrapada original: "uttara-bhādrapada-nakṣatre"; the 26th lunar mansion associated with restraint and depth.
