The states of being are as follows: Childhood, Adolescence, Youth, Old Age, and Death Avasthas: the five developmental stages or "strengths" of a planet or a person's life-force. Similarly, there are five points of life-calculation: Birth, Action, Conception, Physical Form, and the fifth is Vulnerability original: Janma, Karma, Ādhāna, Piṇḍa, and Chidra (literally "a hole or gap"). || 5 ||
