Therefore, in the second division called The Prosperous original: sphītākhye, and likewise in the third called The Wandering original: bhramitākhye, those seven days which are designated as undesirable are concluded. 72
Whatever Weekdays, Months, Lunar Days Tithi, and Lunar Mansions Nakshatra are in motion, they bring about the auspicious or inauspicious fates of a man. When the state of "Risen" original: udite occurs, there is constant victory. In the "Wandering" original: bhramite state, there is indeed success. In the "Confused" original: bhrānte state, one attains perfection/accomplishment. In these and other states, a man shall obtain results according to the traditional teachings.
Similarly, one should perform auspicious acts during the fourth Hour/Division Horā called Twilight original: sandhyākhye and the fifth called Setting original: astākhye. It is said that at the end of the Twilight division, death occurs. The text here becomes more technical regarding planetary influences within the year.
The results from the Sun original: khe/ravi include: decapitation, the burning of one's house, and obstacles at every step. From the Moon original: candra, the results include: the acquisition of cattle, gold ornaments, and productive agriculture; one shall find success and progress in all places. From Mars original: kuja, there is sorrow and the [malefic] influence of the planet...
