...[Regarding] the auspicious and inauspicious results of the divisions of the gods. 3 When Jupiter original: "गुरु" (guru) is situated in Capricorn original: "मकरस्थो" (makarastho), there will be a
{ terrible famine original: "दुर्भिक्षं" (durbhikṣaṃ) and a great war among kings original: "नृपाणां" (nṛpāṇāṃ). At the end of three years, it brings auspiciousness.
4 When [Venus] original: "भुक्त" (bhukta); literally 'the one who has enjoyed/transited,' usually referring to Venus in this context. has transited into Capricorn, it causes the destruction of all crops. Then, high prices original: "महर्घं" (mahargha)
will arise everywhere; of this there is no doubt. 5 When Saturn original: "सौरि" (sauri) is in Capricorn, there is a
terrible famine. There will be the destruction of the Kamarupa country original: "कामरूदेश" (kāmarū-deśa); an ancient kingdom in the region of modern-day Assam., while in other countries there will be auspiciousness.
6 When Rahu The ascending lunar node, often associated with eclipses and sudden change. is in Capricorn, one should collect and store goods in the treasury original: "कोश" (kośa). If they are
held for only a month, there will be future profit and success?. 7 Thus ends the results for the sign of Capricorn.

Results for the Sign of Aquarius

When the Sun original: "भानु" (bhānu) enters Aquarius original: "कुंभ" (kumbha), the prices of all goods will become equal and stable. Salt
and likewise oil will be given at a low price original: "मल्यार्घ" (malyārgha); likely a variant of 'mūlyārgha' or 'alpārgha'.. 1 When Mars original: "भूसुतो" (bhūsuto); literally 'son of the earth'. is in the sign of Aquarius,
