3 When Shikhi original: "shikhi"; another name for Ketu, the South Node, literally meaning "the crested one" or "fire" is situated in the Third House of the birth chart Sahaja-sthana; the house of siblings, courage, and efforts, it acts as a taker of happiness from siblings and the like. While the person may be a speaker of pleasantries and joy, they suffer from intense pain. At times there is great suffering, and at other times they may face captivity also.
4 In the Fourth House Matru-sthana; the house of home, mother, and comforts, Ketu causes distress to the children of women. While there is an inclination toward seeking happiness, such comfort is only obtained through great hardship. It brings about bad dreams and produces significant suffering original: "bhuri-kashtam" originating from one’s circle of friends.
5 Located in the Fifth House Putra-sthana; the house of children, intelligence, and past merits, Ketu causes the loss of sons. The individual suffers from pain in the abdomen, specifically from Gulma A term in traditional Ayurvedic medicine referring to abdominal tumors, bloating, or chronic enlargement of the spleen. Such a person is prone to laughter and is driven by strong carnal desires. They may be a sufferer of major chronic diseases, yet they are physically firm in the knees.
6 For Padmini women The "Lotus-like" woman; the highest of the four physiological/psychological categories of women in classical Indian erotology and astrology, Ketu in the Sixth House Shatru-sthana; the house of enemies, debts, and disease is a destroyer of enemies. They are highly engaged in various works and duties, but may face a difficult state regarding co-wives or rivals. This placement does not provide happiness from one's own spouse.
7 When Shikhi is in the Seventh House Kalatra-sthana; the house of marriage and partnerships for women, the happiness derived from the husband is questioned despite his purity. There may be three unions original: "tri-samvya"; likely referring to three marriages or significant relationships. There is constant pain in the head and the eyes; the individual possesses a slender body original: "krishangi" but a very great intellect.
