Thus ends the results of the Moon. Now, the periods [of planetary influence]: twenty-seven for Venus, twenty-one for the Nakshatras The 27 lunar mansions or star constellations, and for the Sun original: "Bhaskara", the period is three months. 21
For Jupiter original: "Guru", thirteen months are prescribed; for Saturn, it is twenty; and for Rahu and Ketu, the number is eighteen. 22
Regarding the positions of Saturn and the count of Venus, Oh Dear One: in the first [house/month], it creates contentment of mind; in the second, [wealth]; in the third, the arrival of wealth; and in the fourth, a quarrel original: "kalahah"; a technical term for discord or legal disputes that disrupt domestic peace. 23
In the fifth, an increase in knowledge; in the sixth, the highest wealth; in the seventh, respect and honor; and in the eighth, death. 24
No In the ninth, the gain of religious merit original: "Dharma"; in the tenth month, success; in the eleventh, all types of gain; and in the twelfth, only loss. 25
Thus are the twelve positions of the Moon to be counted. Here, the constellations Hasta, Mrigashira, and the two Aditis Punarvasu are mentioned. For a journey, Revati is praised, and for [certain acts], the two Bharanis. 26
