There is a possibility of fluctuations or changes in their material possessions, and they may suffer an injury to the eyes or the face. However, they will always obtain victory and firm roots. 3
If the Son of Earth original: "Bhusuta"; a common name for Mars in Sanskrit, reflecting the myth that he was born from the Earth has gone to the House of Siblings original: "Sahaja-bhava"; the 3rd house, representing courage, vitality, and younger brothers, that man becomes victorious and wealthy. Although this placement acts as a cause for both the growth and the loss of brothers, he attains great luxury and happiness, even if he suffers from some physical ailments. 4
There is opposition from the wife and indeed from the mother; a blow to the heart, the destruction of crops, and conflict with friends occurs when the Son of Earth original: "Bhumiputra" is located in the 3a House of Happiness original: "Sukha-bhava"; the 4th house, which relates to the home, mother, and emotional stability. 5
In the House of Children original: "Santana-bhava"; the 5th house, concerning progeny and intelligence, the Son of the World original: "Jagati-suta"; another epithet for Mars brings suffering regarding offspring and in matters of nourishment. He attains personal growth, yet he may act as a destroyer of others' work. He is prone to abdominal swelling original: "gulmodara"; often referring to chronic spleen or liver conditions in traditional medicine and disorders of the blood. 6
With Mars original: "Bhaume" in the sixth house traditionally the "House of Enemies" (Ari-bhava), where Mars is often considered strong, the man is worshiped by the public. He becomes like a shining lamp to his lineage. Unrestrained and powerful like a choice elephant, he stands as a primary leader among people and a protector of the scriptures original: "shastra pava"; suggesting one who masters or guards sacred knowledge.
