It has the luster of a parrot, meaning its color is green. It is two-footed, meaning it has two legs human-like, and is a masculine sign. It is dual-bodied, meaning it possesses a dual nature Dvishvabhāva; having both movable and fixed qualities. In this regard, a specific distinction pa? should be known: the first half of the sign is fixed and the second half is movable. This was stated by Bhattotpala A famous 10th-century commentator on astrological texts: "In a dual-natured sign, the results are mixed or opposite; in the first half it is like a fixed sign, and in the latter half it is like a movable sign." It rises unevenly original: "vishama-udaya", is hot by nature, and possesses medium fertility, meaning a moderate number of children and moderate contact with women. It is a forest-dweller, a roamer of the wilds, and belongs to the Shudra the laborer or artisan caste. It has a long voice, meaning it makes a great sound, and is oily original: "snigdha," often meaning a smooth or healthy complexion.
