This value, added to the sixth part, becomes the Third House: 2s 09° 26' 38". This added to the sixth part becomes the junction original: 'sandhi', the point where one house ends and the next begins of the Third House: 2s 22° 07' 19". The previously calculated sixth part is 0s 12° 49' 37". This is subtracted from unity one whole sign or a specific mathematical constant in this context, leaving a remainder of 0s 17° 10' 23". Added with the Fourth House original: 'sukha-bhava', the house of happiness/home, this becomes the junction of the Fourth House: 3s 22° 18' 23". This process continued results in the Fifth House: 4s 09° 28' 46". This continued results in the junction of the Fifth House: 4s 26° 39' 01". This continued results in the Sixth House: 5s 13° 49' 32". This continued results in the junction of the Enemy House original: 'ripu-bhava', the sixth house: 6s 00° 59' 55". These six signs are thus applied; the remaining houses with their junctions are as follows:

The table above lists the 12 houses of the zodiac. The top row of numbers (0-11) represents the signs (Aries through Pisces). The following rows provide the degrees, minutes, and seconds for each House and each 'Jnct' (Junction/Sandhi).
House Chart Ascendant ChartA planet situated between two junctions yields the full result of that house. If it is less than or more than the two junctions, the result belongs to the previous or subsequent house. || 28 ||
The difference between the planet and the junction should be multiplied by twenty (20) and divided by the difference between the house and the junction. The results obtained are known as Vinshopakas: a unit of measure used to quantify the strength or potency of a planet's influence, usually on a scale of 1 to 20. || 29 ||
All the houses thus produced are written together here. || 27 || Alternatively, regarding the results of a planet situated in a house: "A planet situated between two junctions..." as stated. That is to say: if a planet's longitude is greater than the starting junction and less than the closing junction, the result of that house where the planet resides is obtained. If a planet's longitude is less than or greater than the two junctions, the result occurs in the preceding or following house. For example: when a planet is less than the starting junction, it gives the result of the house prior to its current one. When a planet is greater than the closing junction, it gives the result of the following house. || 28 || Now the author describes the house results in terms of Vinshopakas. For example:
