The abbreviations in the table represent the planetary lords: Ju (Jupiter), Ve (Venus), Me (Mercury), Ma (Mars), and Sa (Saturn). The numbers represent the span of degrees allotted to each planet within that sign, totaling 30 degrees per sign.

In Aries, the portions of six, six, eight, five, and five degrees belong respectively to Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, Mars, and Saturn. In Taurus, the portions of eight, six, eight, five, and three degrees belong to the Terms of Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn. || 33 ||

In Gemini original: 'yugme', literally 'the pair', the portions are six, six, eight, seven, and three degrees; these are the Terms of Mercury original: 'saumya', Venus, Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn.
