At one time, many people—in fact, everyone—believed that some lower life forms originated spontaneously; that is, without being reproduced from a parent life form. It was thought that frogs and other reptiles, worms, small insects, and other lowly creatures originated from the dust of the earth or the slime of a riverbed. But Science has swept away such mistaken ideas into the scrap heap original: "dust-bin" of discarded theories. It has firmly established the doctrine that: "All life proceeds from Life." This is the principle of biogenesis, which replaced the theory of spontaneous generation. Reproduction is universal among living forms, and reproduction always implies the presence of Gender original: "Sex" to at least a basic degree.
The lowest forms of life are found in the slime of the ocean floor. These elementary forms are little more than drops of gelatinous substance original: "glue", lacking obvious or visible organs, yet they demonstrate the activities of life: nourishment, absorption, waste removal, and reproduction. Science will eventually discover the presence of Gender even in these primitive forms to explain their reproductive processes. This discovery will align with ancient esoteric original: "occult" teachings on the subject.
The simplest form of reproduction used by these lowly creatures is simple division known in modern biology as binary fission. A tiny cell grows to a certain size and then begins to split into two cells. For a short time, these two cells are connected by a tiny strand original: "filament", making them look like a miniature dumbbell. Then the strand breaks, and the two single-celled creatures become separate individuals. Later, each of these cells divides into another pair, continuing for generation after generation. So far, Science has not discovered evidence of gender activities
