(1) Practice the treatment for balancing your circulation, as described in the last lesson. Repeat the following auto-suggestions positive statements repeated to oneself to influence the subconscious mind as your hands move slowly down the length of your body: "I am balancing and stimulating the circulation throughout my entire body. I am causing the blood to flow to every part, every organ, and every cell. This blood nourishes, builds up, and strengthens every part of my body, carrying away broken-down, discarded material and replacing it with new, healthy tissue. Every organ in my body is being stimulated to function properly and naturally, as the great Creative Power a New Thought term for the universal intelligence or divine energy underlying nature intended. I open every cell of my body to receive the mental energy being sent from my mind."
(2) After resting for a few minutes, place your hands over your Solar Plexus a complex network of nerves located in the abdomen, often considered a center of emotional and physical energy in holistic practices. Let them rest there for a few moments, directing a current of mental energy into that region while saying: "I now direct a current of the healing Thought Force focused mental energy directed toward a specific physical or spiritual goal into my primary digestive organs original: "organs of nutrition". This strengthens and stimulates them to do their work normally and naturally." Repeat this suggestion several times with meaning and earnestness. You will often feel a warm, strengthening sensation flowing through these parts, soothing and nourishing them.
(3) Next, pass your hands slowly over your abdomen with a soft, gentle movement. This allows your mental energy to thoroughly reach every part of the digestive system. At the same time, repeat the following suggestions: "I am sending a strong current of mental energy to my organs of digestion and assimilation the process by which the body absorbs nutrients from food. I am building them up and helping them function properly. I have the appetite of a healthy person. My stomach is strong, strong, STRONG, and it is able to digest every bit of food I eat—it can digest it, and it will digest every single bit. I will absorb every bit of nourishment from my food. I will extract every bit of strength and energy from every ounce of food I have eaten and digested. This
