However new and strange the subject of the work may be to you, I am sure it will be of some interest to you to know that I have introduced—and I hope successfully—a new and powerful means of demonstrating original: "illustrating" truth among the people original: "natives" of Bengal. Given the context of similar documents, this may be a misreading of "mankind." into our own language original: "tongue", and my endeavor original: "endeavour" is to go through the field and depth in every degree, by means of six hundred times? Likely a misreading of "miles.".
