In the first natural house original: "prima domo naturali", every person may inquire about their entire body or seek after health; it concerns the beginning and the head for all first mortal members of things, with the whole heart which one desires. It speaks of the natural face and the state of the body of those being born and already born. It also concerns the imagination, intelligence, and memory; it is the Ascendant Ascendant the sign or point rising on the eastern horizon at the moment of birth or the asking of a question, the person of the seeker, the rising of the east, properly the first of each thing, or the first person in all things, which is treated in the first way by the actors and passions. And it is the Joy of the Moon original: "gaudium lune"; in traditional astrology, each planet "rejoices" in a specific house where its influence is most comfortable. Here, regarding what one seeks in the first house from the aforesaid matters—for example—whether they seek anything regarding their life, what kind it might be and what it will be; whether through some fate they may have a better or worse mind; and whether the beginning of such a matter will be good or bad for them.
In the second house, these things are considered: everything that ought to happen in the coming week; whether there will be some profit or not; whether from such a business deal that one wishes to make, they ought to gain profit or not; whether they ought to receive money for the year from such a source; whether a thing that was lost is in the house or not; whether such a household servant is faithful to the master or not; whether money which one wishes to deposit with another will be well-secured or not; or concerning the type of household goods in movable merchandise which are present. One seeks the cause in riches or all things which are under their dominion, and the expense for weapons, etc.
In the third house, these things are considered: whether a sister or a brother, a companion or a neighbor, is good for them; secrets in a physical act, or likewise the throat original: "gulam"; the third house traditionally governs the throat and neck in some systems, or communication of a man; whether his mistress is faithful to him or not, and whether she loves him faithfully or not; concerning rumors, whether they be false; whether it is a disturbance or a falsehood that is new; whether a dream is thus good or bad; which of two brothers might die first; what kind of companion he has, whether to have them with him in all things or outside; what will come of a messenger, a friend, or indeed a brother; a short journey; a sealed letter; the shoulders, arms, and hands.
In the fourth house, these things are considered: whether a person is loved by others or by friends or not; whether good ancestral estates original: "patrimonia" ought to be increased or not; whether a lost or hidden thing ought to ever be recovered; whether treasure is in such a place or not; whether it is good to found a house or not, or a palace original: "pallaxium," a variant of "palatium" in such a place; whether that which they begin ought to be happily completed or not; in what part of such a place such a thing or treasure might be; which person is a fugitive, or something else lost; or the time for any matter; for all women, their life and stability; to hold a true matter at night; the chest and the stomach.
In the name of the Lord.In the fifth house, these things are considered: whether one ought to conceive a child or have one or not; whether such a woman is pregnant; whether a pregnant woman has a male in her womb or not; whether a child who is born is legitimate or not; whether a promise ought to be given to them or not; and regarding one's own money.
