The Flower of the Mind.

A flower from the paradisiacal original: "Paradifical" — relating to Paradise ground has appeared; its nature and property is never to fade or die, for its descent is from on high, from the Lord, the life-giving Spirit from eternity.

This is the plant that has emerged within me, distinct from my outward nature. It is well known by its pleasant scent, imbued with fragrant love so very sweet and mild that it harmonizes the soul to such a degree that it feels no other life than a spiritual original: "Ghostly" — in the 17th century, this meant spiritual or relating to the soul Deity. That is the root which feeds this rosy flower of the mind with a certain kind of balsamic virtue original: "Vertue" — referring to an inherent power or healing medicinal property, so that its beauty always has a blushing freshness.

Now, herein lies the greatest of all mysteries: that under the cover of a mortal human form, such an anointed cherub An angelic being associated with the presence of God should live and move there, having a fire-sparkling eye that pierces into the heavens to view and see what is of its own kind and property, transplanted into that upper region. For it is known to me that spirits, pure and separate from this gross earth, may be both with Christ the Head and with his body of saints who are in the heights of glory.

Yet mutual greeting and conversation may be allowed, as they spring from one eternal root and ground, coupled together in love's golden chain of everlasting unity.

But it is given to me to understand that such saints who are still in the body (that is, still physical original: "Corporeal") must be highly spiritual and much distanced from their own selves, as considered in an outward, creaturely life. For that part must be silenced and shut up whenever the soul in this body would hold a communion or spiritual conference with the Kingly Shepherd and 그 upper fold.

Now, from this it is to be concluded that they must be highly advanced original: "High Graduated" — referring to souls who have reached a high level of spiritual "degree" or maturity souls who are privileged to come up here to this heavenly court. Every spirit, according to its growth and attainment, will be ranked with those above; each one joined to its like in heavenly places.
