...ous way. I shall name them as I myself have found them to be a fortress of strength throughout my journey to this very day. So may they be for those who undertake this path original: "the Undertakers"; here meaning those who take up the spiritual task and strictly keep to this perfect way.
The first of these seven qualifying spirits and powers that serve as a guard is holy, passive patience. This is an absolutely necessary companion on this path. There is no enduring without being endowed with a patient mind that can withstand all contradictions and anything that attempts to pull one down from this high and heavenly walk.
The second is deep or meek humility, keeping low and humble, for that secures the traveler. For God has great respect for a soul that walks softly and steadily.

Seventhly, what most completes this holy guard is impregnable strength and power. For if God did not take care to fortify the traveling soul with his own invincible strength, it would be impossible to reach the goal of the New Jerusalem state. But Christ the Lord takes great care and will not fail to provide fortified strength original: "Munition-strength" for accomplishing this heavenly journey. For Christ the Lord longs to see the soul-traveler safely landed in his own bosom of love even more than the soul desires to appear before him. So, by this mutual agreement of love, the everlasting knot of marriage union will be tied once the traveler arrives there.
Now, by this time you see what company will support the soul in its travels, but the most important of all is Christ in Spirit, who
