Now, from all that has been declared, you may see the blessed outcome for an unwearied and faithful traveler to the City of our God. This should invite and allure those who have not yet set foot on this path; and for those who have, it encourages them to make the same progress, which will repay a thousand times over any loss or pain endured along the way.

Oh, you who are friends and lovers of this path, and who wish to become fellow-citizens in the heavenly court with God and Christ, and the numerous company of pure and glorious spirits there—permit me, before I conclude, to recommend the following motives as encouragement to set out and move swiftly along this path of life.

The First Motive is a full assurance of being accepted in love, with dear embraces and the freest communication. With all veils and barriers removed, your Lord Christ will show himself upon this mountain and talk with you just as God did with Moses. However, you must take off your shoes, because you will be walking on holy ground. This means you must come here entirely bare, pure, and clear, leaving everything at the foot of the mountain that would gather the earthly dust of the world. Then you shall know, hear, and see things so ravishing for the nourishment of all your divine senses that you will say, "It is good to dwell original: "Tabernacle" here." This may be permitted for as long as you can remain clothed in the transfigured robe of the Spirit of Christ. But that will only happen at certain times and seasons; yet it will be enough to know such a thing is possible even while still in the physical body original: "Body of Corporiety".

Now then, the second Motive is that by this means, the soul becomes acquainted with this heavenly country before it completely leaves its mortality in this lower world. It is a high and extraordinary privilege to see and know one's place and company beforehand. For our Lord Christ is very willing to show the spiritual-minded the principalities, dominions, and powers in his kingdom, and to give a firm assurance of being joint-heirs with him of the same glory—as you may see in John 17 and Romans 8. All this is to confirm what may be given in every succeeding age as a freshly sealed evidence from the most Holy Spirit.

Oh, who would not want to be among the number of these sealed ones? Surely it is worth forsaking and denying whatever part of this temporary life might obstruct or hinder one from corresponding with the Lord and the citizens of that heaven—
