the world. The angels shall come and sever the bad from the good, and shall cast them into a furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
¶ Jesus said to them: "Have you understood all these things?" They said, "Yes, sir." Then said he to them: "Therefore every scribe who is instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings forth out of his treasure things both new and old."
¶ And it came to pass when Jesus had finished these parables that he departed from there, and came into his own country and taught in their synagogues, in so much that they were astonished and said: "From where did all this wisdom and power come to him? Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And his brothers are called James and Joses and Simon and Judas? And are not his sisters all here with us?
