and him only shall you serve." Jesus is quoting Deuteronomy 6:13, reaffirming monotheistic devotion. Then the devil leaves him; and 11
behold, angels came and were ministering to him.
19 [ΙΘ] Now when he heard that John had been delivered up This refers to the arrest of John the Baptist by Herod Antipas., he withdrew into 12

Naphtali. This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, 14

From then on Jesus began to preach and to say: "Repent; 17

21 [ΚΑ] And he went about all Galilee* teaching in 23

his fame went out into all Syria; and they brought to him [all who were sick...]
