Kochia fruit one tael original: 地膚子 (Dìfūzǐ). Often used in TCM to clear damp-heat and stop itching.
Ledebouriella root two mace original: 防風 (Fángfēng), literally "Wind-Protector."
Baical skullcap root three mace original: 黃芩 (Huángqín).
Boil these into one large bowl of decoction. Add the juice of two pig gallbladders and decoct them together with the medicine. Use a goose feather to brush the liquid over the affected area, and the itching will stop immediately. Once the itching stops, the sores will also be completely healed.
Yellow Water Sores are also known as "Dripping Pus Sores." This name refers to the fact that a new sore will form wherever the pus from a previous sore flows.
These sores occur on the surface of the skin and hair, rather than deep within the muscles. Although the condition involves Damp-Heat in the Spleen Meridian, it also originates from dryness in the Lung Meridian. According to the Five Elements theory, the Spleen (Earth) is the "mother" of the Lungs (Metal). The Spleen arrives to care for its "mother," intending to use its inherent dampness to nourish and regulate the mother's dry state. Little did it know that this dampness contains... In traditional Chinese medicine, organs have a "mother-child" relationship. When the "son" (Lungs) is dry/ailing, the "mother" (Spleen) attempts to compensate, but if the Spleen is burdened by "Damp-Heat," this compensatory moisture becomes pathological, leading to skin conditions like oozing sores.
