original: 漏骨瘡 (lòugǔ chuāng). This historical term refers to deep, chronic ulcerations that seem to "leak" fluid from near the bone, often associated with chronic osteomyelitis or tubercular skin infections.

The ingredients above should be ground into a fine powder and rubbed onto the area. If the skin is dry, mix the powder with Mirabilite Mirabiliteoriginal: 朴硝 (pǔxiāo), also known as Glauber’s salt or sodium sulfate; used here to draw out heat and moisture. water to form a medicinal cake.
"Water-sores" occur when the skin is accidentally broken by bamboo or wood splinters and the wound is then exposed to water, causing it to ulcerate and become painful. This also applies to wounds from fish bones or other animal bones that have remained unhealed for a long time.
Treatment: Take equal parts of Lead Red original: 黃丹 (huángdān), a traditional lead-based pigment used for drying sores., Clam Shell Powder, and Hard Clam Shell original: 文蛤 (wéngé).. Stir-fry them together until the color changes, then sprinkle the mixture onto the opening of the sore; it will heal gradually.
If the splinter is already embedded deep in the flesh, pound Rat Brain together with Deer Antler Powder and apply the mixture to the wound; the splinter will emerge immediately. If a bone fragment is embedded in the flesh, use Ivory Shavings original: 象牙刮末 (xiàngyá guāmò). and apply a thick layer over the area; the fragment will emerge of its own accord.
