One times one is|original: 如; rú one; The term "ru" (literally "as" or "like") is the standard term in ancient Chinese multiplication tables to indicate the result. this number multiplied by itself|original: 自相乘; zì xiāng chéng yields one. Multiplying by one does not increase the value.
To the right, from the "nine-nine" product down to "one-one," the total sum|original: 總成; zǒng chéng is one thousand one hundred fifty-five. This refers to the sum of all products in a traditional Chinese multiplication table (e.g., 1x1, 1x2... up to 9x9). Mathematically: $\sum_{i=1}^9 \sum_{j=1}^i (i \times j) = 1155$.
This number multiplied by itself yields one million three hundred thirty-four thousand twenty-five. Calculation: $1155^2 = 1,334,025$.
Divided among nine people, each person receives one hundred forty-eight thousand two hundred twenty-five. Calculation: $1,334,025 \div 9 = 148,225$.
