Inner self-purity is the cause
When the inner self is purely established as the cause, one awaits the realization of empty silence. This state eternally severs the "seeds of habit" referring to vasana, the latent tendencies or karmic imprints that cause repeated behavior. The Original Beginning and the Original End Eternally existing and indestructible are everlasting and cannot be destroyed.
Thirdly, when the transformative power of the Way gradually thins, the "thinned Qi" the vital energy of the universe begins to circulate and flow downward. These three breaths descend to The flow of the Five Constants correspond with the "Five Constants" the virtues of benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and trust. Through the spiritual transformation of the Five Elders, the "Five Sections" of sacred text were formed. As the energy dispersed, the Five Elements were established. Heaven divides into five energies Heaven divided into five energies, and these energies gave birth to the Eight Radiances. These radiences shine upon the Ten Directions. These Ten Directions are categorized by numbers and names; Establishing the directions because of these directions, the "Correct Centers" were established, and the thirty-two Brahma-realms: the celestial dwellings of the high gods in Daoist and Buddhist cosmology were divided among them. They occupy the four cardinal points and the four intermediate corners.
Within the Three Realms the realms of Desire, Form, and Formlessness, there are four types of inhabitants, and their lands are distinguished by being either pure or defiled. Distinct regions since the Three Realms Everything existing below the Three Realms is eventually consumed by the Kalpa Fire: a world-ending conflagration that occurs at the end of a cosmic cycle. Within those realms, All are utterly destroyed all living beings are completely obliterated. However, the holy ones who have followed the teachings of the Three Caverns the three primary divisions of the Daoist Canon and attained the Way transcend to the Three Pure Heavens the highest, most refined heavens which exist above the reach of cosmic destruction. They are Not reached by the fire not reached by the fire or destroyed; for this reason, the various heavens are not all the same.
The questioner asked again: "When the Three Realms are consumed by fire, is it the same throughout the Ten Directions, or is there a difference?"
The Celestial Worthy replied: "Each region reacts according to the Drawn by the karmic power of beings karmic power of the sentient beings who reside there. If beings with evil karma encounter this great kalpa, they suffer. Beings of virtue Those who are virtuous remain naturally unaware of it."
The questioner asked again: "As you have said, the suffering is drawn by the evil one creates. Why then is it restricted only to the Three Realms? Why restricted And what special virtue allows those in the Three Pure Heavens to transcend it?"
The Celestial Worthy replied: "It is truly because sentient beings create evil that they encounter this Kalpa Fire. The Celestial Worthy replied: It is truly because sentient beings create evil Those within the Three Realms Beings of the Three Realms cannot have not yet achieved perfect goodness. If they were perfectly good, they would not encounter this great kalpa. Even if beings possess virtue, virtue some possess virtue, if that virtue is not constantly accumulated, over time they will commit evil, and their debts will cause them to fall back into the great kalpa. For this reason, I say that within the Three Realms one cannot avoid disaster while inside the Three Realms. The Three Pure Heavens are simply beyond the reach of the fire beyond the region of the fire; it is not that they are merely 'different directions.' of those regions It is like the world of men: when there is a flood or a drought, it naturally happens in certain places it only occurs in certain places. Who could say such things happen everywhere at once?"
The questioner asked again: "Do the Three Realms and the Ten Directions ever all together encounter the kalpa at the same time?"
The Celestial Worthy replied: "If the beings of the Three Realms and the Ten Directions are equally evil, then equally evil, then they encounter it together."
The questioner asked: "When they encounter it together, is it only the people and objects destroyed people and objects that are destroyed, or are Heaven and Earth also finished? people and objects that are destroyed, or are Heaven and Earth also finished?"
The Celestial Worthy replied: "At the time of the great kalpa, all that is below Heaven and above Earth is transformed below Heaven and above Earth is transformed into a massive, raging flame. Everything is turned to smoldering cinders and scorched. Heaven, Earth, the ten thousand things, the mountains, the rivers, grasses and trees all alike grasses and trees alike become heaps of ash grasses and trees all become heaps of ash and vanish into the distance.
Only the 'Crimson Origin' Jiangyuan remains, refined by the North, a subtle sign of the Nine Origins. In the silent, true Crimson Origin, during the minor kalpas, there is a great rain reaching only a hundred miles reaching only a hundred miles that reaches only a hundred miles. Afterward, the holy ones from the various heavens in other directions return. During the minor kalpas of the 'Crimson Nine,' The former original Realm of Form; the Drum-Face the former original Realm of Form is halfway filled with a great wind. This wind beats against the surfaces original: 皷面 (gumian), and the unified energy once again swirls and spreads. During the Crimson Nine minor kalpas During the Crimson Nine minor kalpas, the 'Spirit-Transformation Mountains' made of seven treasures and five luminosities are formed, established in the center of the original realms, surrounding them..."
