I respectfully consider that the Commandery Mistress, a descendant of the stars, comes from the illustrious and spiritual lineage of the Yunhan River The "Cloudy Han" is a poetic name for the Milky Way, suggesting a celestial or noble origin. Her ancestors’ talent and grace were the foremost of their time; their names moved the jade of the Liang region and they frequently ascended the peaks heights of the Wei River gates. I look up at them, like a sturdy pillar of wood that constantly holds a heart of intense loyalty, or like the heights of the ape-filled mountains peaks. When the winds of the world blow, her half-formed worries vanish like clouds. Her elegant reputation rises to the Imperial Court, and her beautiful fame fills the domestic realm. Her descendants are able to broaden their blessings and goodness, pouring their devotion into the True School A reference to authentic Buddhist practice, practicing without fatigue from dawn until the evening sky.
Those who are nimble and proclaim the various sacred commands do so to prepare for salvation; they all speak of their worldly sincerity. In this hour, we drive forward to increase the blessings benefits of the Commandery Mistress, wishing her an increase in distant longevity. With pure and reverent hearts, we prepare for future guidance. Her companions on this bridge of life conduct themselves with a purity like ice and frost in the flowery mansion. Thinking of the swift and outstanding ones who have fled the cycle of rebirth, we look up and see how high they have climbed. Like wind-blown sandalwood trees accumulating in a forest, they lead the way on the Path. Throughout the four seasons, they sever the ties of cold and heat; though the sands of time are long, their golden essence seeks stillness. We have met with previous announcements that the time of celebration has arrived. Because of long-standing kindness, recent days have been like a feast of joy; we believe that planting the seeds of faith will result in a harvest where everyone achieves the same success.
Furthermore, we solemnly invite the spiritual power of Manjusri Manjusri: the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, often depicted on a lion of the Green Source and the Jeweled Mountain; the Lord Shakyamuni; and Avalokitesvara Avalokitesvara: the Bodhisattva of Compassion, known in China as Guanyin of Mount Potalaka. We invite those who come from the west, from the borders of the Qinghai islands, from the eight great deserts, from the Seven-Leaf Cave The Saptaparni Cave in India, site of the first Buddhist council, and the five hundred Sravakas Sravakas: "hearers" or direct disciples of the Buddha. We invite the saints of the past, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, and those of the three ages Past, present, and future who look inward at the Way. With hearts of compassion, they exercise their divine powers to come to this place, wishing to receive the offerings of the new inhabitants of Cheng Prefecture. We have chosen the loyal official Qili to cast away evil. Now, we spread out our offerings and receive the revelation of our sins, so that our long-held wishes may be fulfilled.
Upholding and protecting the ritual site. We know that with constant diligence, the lotus moves its old petals to compete for radiance with the sun. May the thunder of this teaching awaken those who are drowning in the depths. The sleeping brilliance crowns the "Jeweled Vessel" A metaphor for the Buddhist teachings or the community; the remaining images form stars, and the true forms unroll their hearts of sorrow to save all beings. Pure jeweled candles are clear and bright; the deep waters of the spring are auspicious. The winds of the "Turning Karma" and the divine lamps break the darkness. The kitchen wishes to offer a hundred flavors, sweet and smooth, laid out in the residence. With original blessings, we pray that all tasks are completed. I seek to cross the seven miles of obstacles and block the path of sin. Looking up, I offer the golden plate; looking down, I draw from the jade cup. With one heart, we maintain a dignified appearance, and with the "three leaves" of our being Likely referring to body, speech, and mind, we join in respectful repentance to seek prosperity.
We respectfully invite the Dong family, who have donated their wealth to honor the Triple Gem Triple Gem: the Buddha, the Dharma (teachings), and the Sangha (monastic community), to pray for their ancestors. We pray for the high official Qili: We request that the Purple Canopy cover and protect the family; we wish for the prosperity of golden celebrations. May the light of the heart and the spirit’s longevity reach the Terrace of the Crane A symbol of immortality and the afterlife; may the pagoda forever turn for the benefit of the body and the constant crossing over to salvation. Both benefits—to oneself and others—are precious. Heaven opens the copper arts and the Earth awaits the yellow flags Symbols of cosmic and imperial legitimacy; may we be shaded by joy. In the dark of night, the spirits assist. The ancestors and the six types of relatives are all harmonious; the nine generations of the clan flourish. Within this region, there is a talent who daily shows signs of a spiritual aura. The women walk with grace and dignity; they are beautiful and able to maintain constancy and virtuous modesty. High officials look toward one another, and the lineage at the gate never ends. The Twelve Spirit Dispositions secretly assist with their majestic light, and the Four Heavenly Kings Four Heavenly Kings: Buddhist deities who watch over the four cardinal directions of the world provide protection, clearing away the errors of a hundred generations.
