Hrīḥ Mahā Pataśame — Thirteen

Great Mercy and Great Compassion,
Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva Mahasattva original: 觀世音菩薩薩摩訶薩 (Guānshìyīn Púsà Sàmóhēsà); the "Great Being" of Compassion who hears the cries of the world..
Mercy has the power to uproot suffering;
Compassion has the power to grant joy.
Universally delivering all living beings.
Pataśame original: 皤哆沙咩 (póduōshāmiē); a transliteration of the Sanskrit pata-śame, meaning "the peace of the fallen" or "the quelling of falls."
This refers to the "bleating of a sheep."
The Sheep-headed Spirit King original: 羊頭神王 (Yángtóu Shénwáng); a protective deity or Dharmapala manifesting as a servant of the Bodhisattva.
protects those on a journey,
causing tigers, wolves, and venomous
beasts to all keep their
distance.

Sarva Artha Siddhu Śubham — Fourteen

The Commentary on the Precious Mantra states:
