original: "四庫全書" (Siku Quanshu). Commissioned by the Qianlong Emperor in 1772, this represents the most ambitious editorial project in Chinese history, intended to catalog and preserve the entirety of Chinese written knowledge.
original: "子部" (Zibu). One of the four traditional divisions of Chinese literature. While the "Classics" section focused on the core Confucian canon, the Masters section housed works on philosophy, military strategy, medicine, agriculture, and religion.
