King Melon original: "王瓜"

A woodblock-style botanical illustration of the plant Wanggua (Trichosanthes cucumeroides). The illustration depicts a single climbing vine emerging from a small, thickened root. The stem has several broad, ovate leaves with clear venation. Two small, spherical fruits hang from the middle section of the vine. Delicate, coiled tendrils are shown extending from the upper nodes of the plant.
