original: "Siku Quanshu." This was the largest collection of books in Chinese history, commissioned by the Qianlong Emperor of the Qing dynasty in the 18th century to catalog all significant knowledge.
Masters Division (Zibu): One of the four main branches of the Imperial library. This section contains works on philosophy, religion, military strategy, medicine, astronomy, and the arts—essentially the writings of "Masters" or experts outside the Confucian Classics and official histories.
