A traditional Chinese woodcut botanical illustration of a plant identified as Hujincao. The plant consists of a single vertical stalk topped with a whorl of seven lanceolate (spear-shaped) leaves radiating from a central point. Each leaf is rendered with a distinct midrib and fine lateral veins, and the margins appear slightly serrated. The stem below the leaf cluster is long and depicted with a dense, hair-like or finely prickly texture.
