Sancai Tuhui original title: "Sancai Tuhui" (三才圖會). A renowned pictorial encyclopedia compiled by the scholars Wang Qi and Wang Siyi during the Ming Dynasty, published around 1609.
The "Three Realms" (Sancai) refers to the traditional Chinese cosmic order comprising Heaven, Earth, and Humanity. This title indicates that the encyclopedia covers all subjects within these three domains, including astronomy, geography, biology, and human activities.
