Song of the Various Points of the Kidney Meridian

In the center of the sole of the foot is Gushing Spring original: "湧泉" (Yongquan); Blazing Valley original: "然谷" (Rangu) is located one inch below and in front of the ankle bone.

Great Stream original: "太谿" (Taixi) is behind the ankle above the heel bone; Large Bell original: "大鍾" (Dazhong) passes through the center of the heel behind the foot.
This is between the two tendons above the large bone in the center of the heel at the back of the foot

Shining Sea original: "照海" (Zhaohai) is settled four-tenths of an inch below the ankle. Returning Flow original: "復溜" (Fuliu) is two inches above the ankle, and Intersection of Faith original: "交信" (Jiaoxin) is linked two inches above the ankle as well.

These two points are only separated by the front and back of a tendon; one lies behind the Great Yang The Bladder Meridian and the other in front of the Lesser Yin The Kidney Meridian.
The one beside the bone in front is Returning Flow; the one beside the bone behind is Intersection of Faith. The two points are separated only by a single tendon.

Guest House original: "築賓" (Zhubin) is located on the calf 腨 (shuan): the fleshy part of the gastrocnemius or calf muscle above the inner ankle. Yin Valley original: "陰谷" (Yingu) is found below the knee, within the crease when the knee is bent. Pubic Bone original: "橫骨" (Henggu), Great Radiance original: "大赫" (Dahe), and Qi Point original: "氣穴" (Qixue) are grouped together.

Four Fullnesses original: "四滿" (Siman) and Middle Pouring original: "中注" (Zhongzhu) are also connected in a line. Each is positioned one and a half inches The "inch" (cun) is a traditional unit of measurement relative to the patient's own body away from the center line, and they are situated exactly one inch apart from each other vertically.

Above these, separated by another inch, is Vitals Point original: "肓俞" (Huangshu). Vitals Point is located half an inch to the side of the navel.
