On the city wall, each General shall appoint an Official-in-Charge Official-in-Charge (dianzhang): a logistics officer responsible for coordinating supplies between the battlements and the city below to manage the requisition of all necessary supplies.

First, prepare several dozen small flags. When a supply is needed, write the name of the item in large characters and attach it to a flag. Raise the flag to signal those at the base of the wall.
