The Ten Philosophers (Shizhe) are the elite disciples of Confucius, recognized for their mastery of his teachings. In the ritual hall, five tablets are placed on the east side and five on the west.

These items represent the traditional "Six Baskets and Six Vessels." The grains (millet) are placed centrally, flanked by dried fruits/meats (right) and pickled vegetables/meat pastes (left).
