Large Fortune Ships

The first-class Fujian ship original: 福船一號 (fúchuán yī hào) has a draft 喫水 (chīshuǐ): the depth of water a ship draws; the vertical distance between the waterline and the bottom of the hull. that is too deep, which makes its movements slow and heavy.
