The Wubei Zhi, often translated as the "Treatise on Armament Technology" or "Records of Military Preparedness," was compiled by Mao Yuanyi and presented to the throne in 1621. This massive encyclopedia consists of 240 volumes covering strategy, weapons, formation drills, and even the famous "Mao Kun Map" used by Admiral Zheng He. It is a cornerstone of Ming Dynasty military literature.
