From the south of the Great Dam road, extending to the present, the water flows from the Tao River to Zhenkou, where it merges with the Grand Canal and flows together to reach Xuzhou. This is the "Thin Water-Thread" Embankment Lushui DiA dike built close to the river channel to constrict the flow, using the increased current to flush away silt. constructed in the 6th year of the Longqing era1572, during the reign of the Ming Emperor Muzong..
