Once the calling of the tallies is finished, those completed first become the Heaven Gate original: Tianmen; the Northwest direction, representing the entrance to the celestial realm, and those completed later become the Earth Door original: Dihu; the Southeast direction, representing the terrestrial exit. For any that remain incomplete, take the first tally and cast it to form a tally. With seven tallies, command them, and the ritual is completed at the direction of entry. Stand, holding the tallies, and recite this incantation:

“Heaven original: Qian is the honored and brilliant spirit; Earth original: Kun is the yielding inner encampment. The two forces intersect in great harmony, uniting in beneficial perseverance. Matching Heaven and treading upon Earth, may there be eternal peace and purity. Responding to the Dark Heavens and the Yellow Earth, like the upper garment and the lower skirt.

Wind, Fire, Earth, and Lake original: Xun, Li, Kun, Dui; four of the Eight Trigrams assist and support me. Heaven, Water, Mountain, and Thunder original: Qian, Kan, Gen, Zhen; the remaining four Trigrams provide the Tiger’s stride and the Dragon’s flight.

In emergencies, they shall assist me, constantly supporting their servant. Those who approach me with ill intent shall die; those who try to capture me shall perish. The Oxherd and the Weaver Girl Refers to the stars Altair and Vega; here, their celestial bridge transforms into a protective barrier shall transform into the sea and the river.

Swiftly, swiftly, according to the laws and commands!”
