The boundaries of this garrison begin at the border of the Liaodong Garrison in the east and extend to the border of the Xuanfu Garrison in the west, covering a distance of over a thousand li. A li is a traditional Chinese unit of distance, roughly equivalent to 500 meters or one-third of a mile.
