Assistant Regional Commander of Shitangling

Established in the 31st year of the Jiajing era [1552]. He oversees the Deputy Commissioner Tidiao of Baima Pass and Dashuiyu.

Assistant Regional Commander of Xifengkou

Formerly the post was held by a Commandant Shoubei. In the 2nd year of the Wanli era [1574], it was upgraded to an Assistant Regional Commander because this pass served as the primary thoroughfare for tributary tribes original: shuyi 屬夷; referring to non-Han groups who maintained a tributary relationship with the Ming court to enter and present offerings. He oversees the two Deputy Commissioners of Dongjiakou and Lijiagu.

Six Mobile Corps Commanders

Formerly, there were Mobile Corps Commanders Youji Jiangjun for the three supply camps original: zizhong ying 輜重營; specialized units focused on logistics and heavy equipment of Miyun, Zunhua, and Santun. These posts were all abolished in the 11th year of the Wanli era [1583].

Left Battalion under the Regional Commander

Established in the 42nd year of the Jiajing era [1563]. This officer manages the command troops biaobing of this specific battalion and is stationed at Santun.

Songpenggu

Established in the 2nd year of the Longqing era [1568]. He oversees the three Deputy Commissioners of Luowengu, Hongshanzhi, and Longjing’er.
The name "Hongshanzhi" is suspected to be a clerical error for "Hongshankou" [Hongshan Pass], or perhaps the woodblock print is simply unclear.
