Resolving Doubts in the Artificers' RecordOriginal: Kao Gong Ji (考工記). This is a foundational Chinese classic on technology and craftsmanship, dating back to the late Spring and Autumn period (approx. 5th century BCE). It was later incorporated into the Rites of Zhou (Zhou Li) and describes the manufacturing of everything from chariots and weapons to ritual vessels and city planning.
